Who We Are
Hope House is a faith-based, non-profit, ministry committed to supporting LIFE in a hand's on way by extending grace, encouragement, and support to pregnant women and parenting families seeking assistance. Services are provided at a walk-in center on Eastman Road in Kingsport and also through a long-term residential program for pregnant moms moving towards self-sufficiency and a healthy future. All services are free
Serving our communities since 2002, Hope House strives to present a testimony of grace and hope, portraying the love of Jesus. We are supported by individuals, churches, and agencies who believe in this mission and take a stand for life by coming up alongside those needing help.
What We Do
The Hope House Residential Program assists homeless, single, pregnant women in support of them and their babies with all they need (including housing) to advance scholastically and become self sufficient as new mothers. Helping them "Re-Start" their lives and fulfill their dreams. Our program offers safe, secure, and supportive long-term housing (up to two years) to pregnant women free of charge.
The Hope House Resource Center reaches out offering a "Fresh Start" with love and support through walk-in services for pregnant women, new moms and their families in our community: offering what they need to grow, succeed, and become self-sufficient. The center serves single women as well as married couples, single fathers and other caregivers.Offering a hand UP rather than just a “hand-out”, various incentive programs are designed to support and encourage pregnant mothers through their pregnancies and into the early years of parenting. Participants have the opportunity to earn free maternity and baby items through a points program. As well as confidential pregnancy testing, the center offers options counseling, and various classes throughout the month.
