Join the Literacy Council of Kingsport in building a stronger community through the power of literacy by tutoring adults who need to improve their reading and writing skills in our Adult Basic program or by tutoring adults who need to improve their English language proficiency in our English as a Second Language program. Volunteers can tutor during the day or evening for as little as one hour a week.
A free training for new adult tutors will be held on Saturday, June 15 at the Kingsport Public Library. All new tutors must register and complete a required tutor orientation prior to the training. Orientation dates will be available in May 2019.
