April 12 in Virginia and April 26 in Tennessee Registration for both Goodwill Day Virginia and Goodwill Day Tennessee is now open. Goodwill Day observances at Goodwill Tenneva locations aid students needing community service to meet financial aid, scholarship, course, work ethic, graduation, college/work application, or résumé requirements. High school and college students in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee who are age 16 plus can earn one to eight hours of community service on either April 12 at our Virginia stores in Abingdon, Bristol, Chilhowie, Richlands, and Wise or on April 26 at our Tennessee stores in Bristol, Elizabethton, Greeneville, Johnson City, and Kingsport. Registration for a limited number of available volunteer slots at each location is required. The deadline to register is the same for either state option, March 31 by 7:00 p.m. Eligible students must register by the March 31 deadline at https://www.goodwilltnva.org/goodwill-days/.
