Shelter Coordinator / Part-time Evenings, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays

Non-profit domestic violence intervention services agency accepting resumes for the position of part-time Shelter Coordinator.  Responsibilities include answering Emergency Hotline, screening potential clients for Emergency Shelter, compiling client files, completing all necessary forms - both intake and departure, assisting with safety planning, data entry, transportation, and all other emergency services as needed.  Qualifications / Education: Graduation from high school and related work experience.  College course work toward a degree in human services with some knowledge, skills and abilities in counseling is desired.  Ability to maintain confidentiality in relation to clients and client services.  Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.  Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.  Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to pass a criminal background check.
