'Beer Sales Tent' volunteers will be responsible for selling alcohol to customers. There will be 2 beer sales tents throughout the festival, with each tent housing two 'Beer Sales Tent' volunteers and two "beer pour" volunteers. Each 'Beer Sales Tent' volunteer will be instructed on how to use the POS (point-of-sale) system. If any questions arise during the festival that you need assistance with, each tent will have a walkie-talkie for you to contact the volunteer coordinator. The first and last shift each day will assist with set-up / tear-down of the beer sales tent (we will provide instructions day of).
NOTE: This is a low mobility position.
NOTE: You MUST have a valid ABC/TIPS card to volunteer for this position. The only individuals permitted to complete alcohol-related transactions are those with valid ABC/TIPS cards. THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.
This volunteer opportunity requires a completed waiver and TIPS upload before you can sign up. Click “Register” and follow the prompts to submit your waiver and TIPs card. Once it’s submitted, return and click “Register” again to officially sign up.
You only need to complete this waiver once—after that, you can sign up for multiple shifts or other festival opportunities without being asked to complete it again.
