Library - Parade Volunteer

* At this time, we cannot accept teen volunteers. We are waiting to get the right paperwork to make that possible, so keep an eye out!

*Volunteers must complete and clear a free background check prior to volunteering. All adult volunteers must sign a volunteer waiver and complete a form authorizing a background check. You can pick up this paperwork at the library, or we can email it to you to fill out and send back electronically. Be aware that background checks may take 5-7 days to process, so it's best to wait to sign up for a shift until we get that processed. 

The Kingsport Public Library is looking for volunteers to assist with the Downtown Kingsport Christmas Parade. We will be doing a coordinated cart routine and need extra hands pushing our speaker, holding props, and other various tasks. Please be prepared for inclement weather! Dress warm! The parade is set to start at 6pm, with no set end time. Whatever hours you are willing to commit, we will set that shift up accordingly.
