Tasks include
o Thursday, March 1, 9am – 4pm – unboxing 1500+ boxes of books & arranging on table with spines up for easy prusing/shopping. Anyone working at least 5 hours unboxing can “preshop” without paying the $10 Pre$ale admission fee.
March1, 5 – 9pm; March 2 & 3, 9am – 7pm; March 4, 12:30 – 5pm
o helping customers get their purchases to their vehicles. (Sometimes, they tip!)
o flattening & bundling (approximately 1000) boxes to reuse for next year’s sale. Book Fair is an EXCELLENT example of reuse & sustainable actions.
o Straightening books on tables to make the spine titles easier to read
o Sunday afternoon, March 4, 4:30pm – job completed, reboxing all unsold books. After completing the 10 minute training @ 4:35, Reboxing Volunteers can look through books (until 5pm when we begin reboxing) & pick as many books for FREE
