Volunteers are needed to help residents in Unicoi County with recovery efforts and clean-up following the impacts of the flood.
*If you can cut metal, please say so in the notes; the tools are provided unless you want to bring your own*
Work includes but not limited to:
- Debris clean up
- Tree/limb removal
- Shoveling mud
What Volunteers Need to Know:
- All volunteers must have their own transportation
- All volunteers must dress appropriately (closed-toe shoes, work-friendly attire, etc)
- Bring any PPE you may feel is needed (masks, work gloves, protective eyewear)
- Bring any gear that may be helpful in your efforts (shovels, wheelbarrows, buckets, etc)
- Assignments/directions will be given at check-in at the Volunteer Resource Center located in the Armory Building - 615 South Main Avenue Erwin, TN 37650
- Volunteers under the age of 18 should inform the supervisor upon arrival and will be assigned age-appropriate tasks
