Needs From: Volunteer United

Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center serves children through adults with speech, language, hearing and swallowing disorders.  We are a nonprofit organization.  Our Board meets monthly to guide the Center in its mission.  We need to add a couple of board members. Board members should be prepared to invest thought and due process of evaluating policies and procedures which guide our Center.  We especially need skillsets related to Information Technology and Fund Raising but all interested parties should apply.  Please contact the Center's Executive Director, Kathy Fields, at 423-246-4600.

We have two established Fundraising events, one is a Fishing Tournament in April and the other is a Jeep event in August. We need outgoing individuals who will reach out to businesses to secure sponsorships and donations, who are organized and "see the job through to the end" and who will work to help plan, execute, and wrap up the events for the Center.

Office volunteer who is available on an as-needed basis to help sort mail, stuff envelopes, file documents, prepare mailers for fundraisers, or various "odd" office style assignments. Days of week or needs would be sporadic based on the particular needs of the Center
