The Kingsport Public Library is looking for volunteers to help keep our library welcoming and organized. Volunteers assist with tasks such as shelving books, straightening shelves, cleaning, and pulling holds for patrons. Your time and support help us provide excellent service to our community! You can fill out this quick questionnaire to learn more about our expectations and let us know what you're looking for.
Volunteers must complete and clear a free background check prior to volunteering. All adult volunteers must sign a volunteer waiver and complete a form authorizing a background check. You can find the forms necessary and extra info here. If this paperwork is not completed within 3 days of signing up for a shift, we will reopen the shift so those seeking hours can have those opportunities.
