The Kingsport Public Library is looking for a volunteer to help us with our Polar Express party! This event will take place from 10am to 1pm. We are asking that our volunteer come in at 9:30 to help set up and prepare. This will be a high-volume event, so we need extra hands! The standard shift for volunteers is 2 hours, so you would be finishing around 11:30. (If you need more hours or would like to contribute more time, that's something we can discuss!)
At this time, we cannot accept teen volunteers. Hopefully that will be a possibility in the future!
Volunteers must complete and clear a free background check prior to volunteering. All adult volunteers must sign a volunteer waiver and complete a form authorizing a background check. You can find the forms necessary and extra info here. If this paperwork is not completed within 3 days of signing up for a shift, we will reopen the shift so those seeking hours can have those opportunities.
