The UWGK Citizens Review process allows volunteers to experience firsthand the direct impact of donor dollars on the community. Participating volunteers learn from our agency partners then use this knowledge to assist in allocation decisions for our funded programs. We are in need of 50 total volunteers to take part in our 2026 Citizen's Review Process.
Volunteers are asked to attend 1-2 hours of training with UWGK staff and spend 1-2 days visiting current UWGK funded agencies. In addition to those dates, volunteers are asked to spend a few hours reviewing their assigned Agency applications. We have moved to an online system which makes it easy and convenient to review Agency application and other documents in the comfort of your home or office!
