Girl Scouts has been invited to join the fun at this year’s community Dr. Seuss celebration on Saturday, March 7 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will bring the community together to enjoy all things Dr. Seuss — from lively book readings and interactive activities to hands-on experiences for children of all ages.
Festivities will take place throughout the Downtown area and conclude at Covered Bridge Park. Girl Scouts will host a space-themed activity station inspired by There’s No Place Like Space, giving children the opportunity to explore basic space concepts through an engaging, hands-on experience. Volunteers will help guide the activity, interact with families, and share information about Girl Scout space-themed badges and upcoming opportunities for girls to get involved.
This is a wonderful chance for Girl Scouts to showcase leadership, creativity, and community spirit while celebrating literacy and STEM in a fun and meaningful way.
